No longterm contracts
We don’t require you to sign a longterm contract with us. Our goal is to provide the best experience possible so you won’t want to leave.
No monthly software costs
We don’t charge anything monthly to use our software. This means you get access to our entire property management & reservation system at no cost.
No transaction fee.
We don’t charge for walk-in or over the phone reservations that you manually input into CampgroundBooking. You keep all of your booking revenue minus standard credit card processing.
The value for campgrounds.
Each manual reservation you make over the phone or through email can be anywhere from 5 – 20 minutes per booking. By letting your guests book online, this is effectively saving you from hundreds of additional hours per year that can now be automated. This will allow you to spend more time serving your guests and making your campground a great experience.
The value for campers.
By allowing your guests to book online, your customers can book when it’s convenient for them, not only when your office is open. Customers can also save the time that was traditionally spent on the phone or going back and forth through email. They can make a reservation in just a few clicks on your website and know they have a spot waiting for them. Plus, guests can input their credit card in a secure online payment processor instead of having to give it over the phone.
What other hidden fees are there?
Outside of a one time set up fee, there are no monthly or hidden costs. We only make money when a guest books a site at your park online, and then the service fee is paid for by the camper.
Is the online booking fee taken out of my campground rates?
No. When booking online, your guests will see a flat $5USD ($7CAN) service fee for their reservation. This is applied on top of your normal campground fees. If you want to absorb the reservation fee, you have the option to do so.
Is the reservation fee applied to all bookings?
No, we only charge the service fee for online bookings. We do not charge anything for manual reservations taken by campgrounds over the phone or online.
If I use CampgroundBooking to only take manual bookings, how will you make money?
We won’t. Our goal is to provide a simple & secure online booking process for both campgrounds and campers, so this is what we charge for.
Is your business model sustainable?
We believe the future of camping will largely consist of online reservations, as it is valuable to everyone involved. Therefore, our revenue will grow alongside our customers (and not before). When our parks make money, so will we.

How long does it take to go live?
It depends on the size of your park and number of existing reservations we need to move over. Traditionally, we can have your park live in 2-3 days, however it might be longer if we need to merge existing reservations.
What’s your support policy?
We have a dedicated support person with a phone number you can reach during business hours and on weekends. Phone will be available Monday – Friday, 9AM – 5PM Central Time.
What payment processor do you use?
Our reservation system is integrated with Stripe which we use for all online reservations. However, you are welcome to use your own existing payment processor along with CampgroundBooking for any manual reservations.
